Belle Renee was born April 17th at 8:51 am. She weighed 4 pounds 7 ounces and was 17 inches long. She looked much like both of her parents. Belle had Heather and Brian's dark hair, Heather's nose and eye shape, Brian's lips, and her eyes were already a beautiful dark brown like Heather's. "Belle was held every moment from the time she was born until she left us. She has already affected so many people and she spent her too-short existence being very very loved."
Heather said "I begged God for her and He provided. Belle has touched so many people already and we know she has a bigger purpose than we can even imagine. I wasn't supposed to be able to have children but I got pregnant a week after I asked God for a baby."
In the early hours of April 17th, Heather and Brian went to the hospital knowing they were going to meet their baby in a matter of hours at most. When they arrived, they were broken when the staff was not able to find her heartbeat when they got there. With their daughter being 36 weeks, they thought she was simply anxious to meet them. Belle Renee was born sleeping. She was absolutely perfect and so beautiful. Heather had a beautiful pregnancy and Belle was a miracle from the very first moment.
Our hope for setting this page up is to honor Belle's story, share her beautiful life, and show our love to the Lawhon family in a way that will bless them practically. We pray they are able to use these gifts from their loved ones for what they need most; whether that is medical bills, bills while they take some time off of work, or a getaway retreat to help them to rest and heal. We know that nothing can take away the pain from losing a child, but we hope that in giving our resources, we can lift a bit of the every day stress during such a hard time.
