Hi beauties - I’m grateful you’re visiting this page. Hey listen, I’ve been saving up for a minute now to produce the music video for my new single “Heathen”. And i’m so close! I posted a reel on my instagram on April 21st, and within 24hrs…25% of my goal was met! I feel lucky to have a community that has so much love to show and vast amounts of support to provide.
“Heathen” is this tiny beacon of light I wrote for myself, as a means to reclaim myself, re-empower who I am and who I continue to become, and it is a lifeline. A song to help write myself a new narrative. But “Heathen” is not just for me; it’s for anyone who has ever felt erased, chained down, unknown. We’re all Heathens running towards the sun and sending prayers up to the moon; for a better life, a brighter world, and a lot more love.
My original goal was to receive $2,000 in donations by my birthday, on May 3rd. But with $1000 made in the first 72hrs, I felt inspired to make my goal $3,000!
I have an incredible team involved. They are pure magic. Justin Rodriguez (co-director), Juan Palacios (director of photography), Jada Clark (choreographer), Melissa Blackwell (intimacy coordinator), and Corey Rives (behind-the-scenes photographer), Jordan Kaya, Rixey Terry, Kristina Doucette, and Dan Santiago (dancers). These folks deserve all the praise and riches of the world, and then some. To see their artistry at play is a gift, and I am the luckiest soul to say I get to collaborate with them to tell this story through a visual media. They have championed me in unimaginable measures, and I wish to do the same in return.
I deeply cannot wait to share with you what we’re putting together. If you donate, thank you! Truly. Art - queer art - thrives because of helping hands like yours; and right now we’ve needed art more than ever. If you’ve gotten this far and you’re just stopping by: hi hey there, happy you came along on this journey. I hope you stick around for what’s to come.
Big, big, deep love, beauties - and thank you!
