Heath Needs Your Help for Surgery and Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Heath (aka Heafers, Peetie Boy). I'm approximately a little over 10 years old. I was adopted in 2015 by my owners Jessica and Matt. At the time, they called me Patches at the shelter because I had a bunch of spots all over me. Turns out, I was just covered in birdshot. Six years later, I had oral cancer and lost half of my upper jaw.
Just recently, on April 3, 2025, I lost my sister, Stoli, to a tough battle with pancreatitis and heart failure. She was a mini schnauzer and she was the best. It's ok though, I still have another sister, Daisy, to annoy me. Two days later on 4/5/25, I hurt my leg really bad getting out of the car and have a hard time getting around. The orthopedic says I need surgery, but I need to save my shekels first.
I really love(d) chasing balls and getting in the creek. Anything to help me stay mobile will keep the light shining in my owner's eyes for days to come.
Any donations will be used to help Heath with surgery or the best non surgical treatment options. Any remaining funds will be used to cover the outstanding balance for Stoli’s hospitalizations and treatments during her final days.
