HeartsHerd Animal Sanctuary BARN FIRE

Approximately 11:30am on Friday, 3/5/21, our animal rescue sustained a total loss to our barn that houses a large variety of fowl and a run-in shelter for the horses and cows. Many chickens and guinea fowl survived, however all our geese and goslings that recently hatched, plus ducks and some “hospice” chickens, did not survive. We are devastated! Our shelters were over 50 years old.  

We now have many fowl that are displaced. There are temporary “shelters” and our main barn survived with some damage,  but we need to rebuild. We would truly appreciate your support. Since we are a non-profit, your donations are tax deductible.
