Hearts4Bentley: Surviving Gun Violence

On Sunday night, tragedy struck my close friends' lives when their son, Bentley, was shot while walking to the local dollar store to get snacks for a movie night with his family. He was shot twice by a 14-year-old boy who was starting trouble. Bentley was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and this senseless act of violence almost took his life.

Currently, Bentley is fighting for his life after being life-flighted to Danville. He has sustained serious injuries, including a collapsed lung and multiple bullet wounds. He can't feel his upper body and is battling an infection. Thankfully, by the grace of God, one of the bullets missed his heart, but he is in a lot of pain as he begins his recovery process.

The family is facing overwhelming medical expenses, and they need our support now more than ever. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly towards Bentley's medical bills, ongoing treatments, and any necessary support for his family during this incredibly difficult time. Bentley's parents, Kimber and Dallas, will be responsible for the distribution of these funds to ensure they are used appropriately for all of Bentley's needs.
