Hearts to Homes: Join Jackie in Restoring a Widow's House

My beautiful sister-in-law, Jackie Muetzel, tragically lost her husband, my brother, last December. She is taking her pain and turning it into purpose by helping other families who are in great need to restore their homes. She, contractors and volunteers complete the projects. Her first project is to help a widow named Wanda in Groveport who lost her husband in January. There was no life insurance when Wanda's husband passed, and has very limited income. She works in the cafeteria of a local school part time, and has an adult grandson with severe developmental delays living with her and had back surgery in June. Her house had severe water damage and mold, which was making her sick. Wanda needed most things in the house replaced, including the roof, plumbing, walls, floorboards and appliances. Right now, Jackie has been volunteering her own time and money along with some donations toward this project. Jackie is estimating the project will cost $20,000. They have completed the roof, new walls, floor board and flooring for the main living area, but still need to gut a bedroom and a bathroom, paint, and install trim, cabinets and appliances.
