Hearts Out for Harrison

For those of you that know Missy and Taylor, you know that they are both strong, intelligent, and independent people. They aren't the type to reach out for help - they're usually the ones offering it to others. But now, in a time that is already full of fear and uncertainty, the Limbeck family needs our love and support as they navigate the unimaginable. 

Their 2 month old son Harrison has been diagnosed with a rare soft tissue cancer known as Infantile Fibrosarcoma. Little Harrison, who has already been through a number of medical procedures in his short time in the world, will most likely start chemotherapy in the next week or so. The goal of the chemo will be to shrink the tumor so it can be safely removed with minimal effect on his glutes and his gait as it develops.

Unfortunately, this news comes just months after Missy was laid off from her job while pregnant with Harrison, and as Taylor anticipates economic challenges related to the coronavirus outbreak, in his career working with vulnerable and immune-compromised clients in the health care field. 

What they are going through is heartbreaking and incredibly scary, but having this occur in the middle of one of the most uncertain times our country just compounds the fear, stress and anxiety they are experiencing. And as they start navigating this nightmare, the least we can do is to provide some comfort and security so Missy and Taylor can focus on what matters most - their sweet little Harrison.
