Hello, my name is Alejandra and I am raising funds for my mom, who everyone knows as Chelo.
My mom and I have always been inseparable. Through good times and difficult ones, we have always been together. She has been my unconditional support, my example of strength, and my home. Now it is my turn to support her, and although I would give everything for her, I know that at this moment I need to ask for your help.
What is happening now?
After the initial surgery, we received the news we had feared most: the tumor that was removed turned out to be malignant. My mom has been diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. The doctors have been clear: now a new battle begins. The treatment plan involves a cycle of chemotherapy and radiation therapy to fight the disease and give her the best possible chance to regain her health.
This is not the path we hoped for, but Chelo is ready to fight with the same light and courage she has always shown. Only this time, she needs everyone's support more than ever.
Why is this so important to me?
My mom is my everything. For a long time, it has been just the two of us against the world. She is the ultimate example of strength, but now that she is going through the most difficult moment of her life, I do not want her to feel alone for even a second. I want her to feel the same support she has always given me.
Our family and friends have shown endless love and support. They have been by her side, laughed with her, and protected her. That has given me strength. But for this complete treatment to become possible, we need more hearts to come together.
How will the funds be used?
Every contribution will be used exclusively for:
- Chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions
- Medications and healing supplies needed during treatment
- Follow-up studies, lab tests, and medical consultations
- Transportation expenses and supportive care for her recovery
How can you help?
If you are able to make a donation, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you are not able to donate at this moment, sharing this campaign is also an enormous help. The more people who learn about Chelo's story, the closer we will be to reaching our goal.
And if you are someone who believes in the power of prayer, I ask that you keep her in your thoughts. Her name is Chelo, and she deserves to continue being the woman full of light, strength, and love that she has always been.
Thank you for being part of "Hearts for Chelo." Every message, every donation, and every time you share this link reminds me that my mom is not alone, and that together we can make this treatment possible.
With deep gratitude,
Ale
