Hi Friends,

Last year in October, I was able to go to Adventist International School of Siem Reap (AISS), Cambodia on a month-long mission trip, and it was a huge blessing!! I helped teach grades 7 through 9. It was a challenging yet powerful and beautiful time! I was able to make friends with many young people and was able to connect heart-to-heart with a few of them. I saw a desire! It was to know Jesus as a personal and intimate Friend, to have a heart-to-heart connection with Him!

After much prayer, a group of us young people have decided to go back and do a discipleship program for the young people called InDiscipleship by Pastor Don MacLafferty. We will be using his materials, and it will all be led by the youth for the youth. We will teach them how to be disciples of Jesus, but also disciple-makers. When I told one of my Cambodian friends at AISS of our plans, she exclaimed, “THIS is what I’ve been waiting for!”

For the younger children, we will have a VBS. It will be for the children at the school but will be used as an outreach for the community children. I was told to expect 150-200 children! On the side, we will be teaching English too again.

We will be bringing most of the materials for the VBS with us from the States, since availability of the amount of materials we need will be difficult to find over there.

If God is impressing you to support us, we will be so grateful for your contribution and prayers for this mission! Our fundraising goal is $3,000 and it will hopefully cover our flight, food, lodging, materials for VBS, and luggage fees.

It is quite an undertaking, but our God is BIG, with BIG plans! Thank you so much!
