Hello my name is Linda and I am doing this fund raiser for my big hearted friend Patricia Pillon . Patricia took in a 10 year old cat called Boots who was looking for a new home because his family could no longer keep him . If she had not taken him in and given him a new home he would have gone to a shelter . Patricia did not think that was a good choice for a cat that had lived with a family all of his life .She has had him for a few months now and he has adjusted well and is comfortable in his new home. Unfortunately due to life threatening bladder issues he’s had to go to the emergency vet 3 times and has incurred vet bills of over $3500. She spent Christmas day with her daughters in the emergency vets office to make sure he got the care he needed. They have found multiple complications and Boots now needs special food to help keep him healthy. These unexpected vet bills are not what she had expected when taking this lovely boy into her home. She is a single mother and has daughters in university so she really doesn't have the funds to pay these bills. You might remember this cat he was posted in the local group looking for a new home and she was the only person who offered to take him in . I would really like to try and raise some funds to help her pay these emergency vet bills and ease the financial burden . If you can spare something he is 10 year old and hopefully has many more years with his new family . I would be very grateful for any help you can give, it would help this family out a lot and ensure Boots gets to keep on living his best life with his new loving family . Many thanks
