My name is Kim and I have known Christine for over half of my life; I call her my sister. This is her story. ..
Anyone who knows Christine Diamond for more than 15 minutes knows that first, she has never met a stranger, and second she loves to do whatever it takes to help someone in need. On Sunday, March 10th, Christine was doing what she loved, helping her friend on a farm.
Tragically, while moving some wood posts she slipped and was run over by a forklift completely crushing her ankle and foot. Both of the bones of her lower leg were broken, one of which was shattered. Five of the bones in her foot were broken. She spent several painful days in the hospital and underwent her first of possibly three surgeries. She received a metal plate, several rods, pins, and screws in her lower leg and foot; she has severe swelling of her entire leg, foot, and toes. Christine will have her next surgery in three weeks after the swelling has gone down.

Not only are the medical bills overwhelming, estimated to reach over $100,000, but also expenses for medicine, physical therapy and regular cost of living. Her road to full healing and recovery will be well over a year. For Christine's friends and family, we all know the trials and tribulations she has endured the past few years. Through faith and perseverance, Christine's life has been on the mend. Prior to the accident she had started a wonderful new job with some amazing people. I pray that you will join me in the fight to help Christine heal from this accident without the added worry of medical bills, medicine and daily expenses.
If you know Christine, like I know Christine, I guarantee you can think of several times she has been there for you offering emotional support or physical help. I can honestly say if such tragedy struck any of us or any of our family members, Christine would be one of the first people to step up and offer her help. Please join me today with our greatest outpouring of our hearts, our prayers, and our help to a very lucky girl, our friend Christine. Please rest assured that with each show of support comes two promises first, Christine will wear a great pair of heels again, and second she will not be allowed near heavy farm equipment, ever. Thank you and God Bless. PLEASE SHARE.
