Everwood Care Charity are raising money to purchase a digital activities board for residents at Heartland Manor. The touchscreen system enables interactive entertainment, reminiscence sessions, games, quizzes, and music for meaningful engagement amongst residents, including those who are bed bound or unable to join communal activities.
Rachel Lewis, Deputy Manager at Heartland Manor has announced the successful completion of a fundraising 10,000ft skydive. Rachel took on the challenge on Friday 24 October 2025 to help raise funds aimed at enhancing the lives of residents.
Rachel set an initial fundraising target of £500 toward Everwood Care Charity’s wider goal of £6,000. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, she surpassed her target, raising £700.
As a charity, Everwood Care has no shareholders, with all funds reinvested back into its two homes—Little Haven in Dibden Purlieu, a 41-bed residential home, and Heartland Manor in Brockenhurst, a 40-bed residential and dementia care home. Both homes sit within the picturesque New Forest and offer short and long-term stays.
