I am setting up this account for Rose under her Facebook page. She was diagnosed with heart failure two years ago and had to go on the list for a suitable heart transplant. The Lord has watched over her and finally on November 3rd she got the call from Duke University in Raleigh Durham, NC that they had a match for her! She went in for surgery that afternoon and was in the Operating Room for 8 hours. The next day, they gave the news that the heart was not functioning as it should and they would have to put in an external pump to control the heart. That surgery took another 8 hours to perform. Since then, her heart has started functioning as it should and she has had the external pump removed! She is on the mend, but still has a very long way to go. It is looking like if things continue to progress as they have been over the last couple of weeks, she will be able to get out of the ICU and into a regular room in the next few weeks. After that, we are hoping that she could possibly be able to go to her Mother's house for recovery somewhere around the end of January. 

Praise God that she is doing much better now, and would like to thank everyone for your continued prayers and thoughts. 

I am setting this account up because she is out of network at Duke with the transplant surgeries and lengthy hospital stay. After insurance she will still have to pay well over the amount of this Gofundme account. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated and much needed in the coming months!
