Some of you may be familiar with Jaffna Uduvil Mann's Maha Vidayalayam, a small but spirited school located in Uduvil, Jaffna. This school holds great promise—but faces ongoing challenges due to limited resources and funding.

Despite these obstacles, the students continue to shine. Recently, the under 16 badminton team competed against the prestigious Uduvil Girls' College at the Valigamam inter school competition finals and proudly finished as runners-up—a testament to the resilience and potential of these young learners.

Founded in 1862 by members of the Mann family (Mr Samuvel Appukutty Mann), the school has a rich history rooted in service and education. As a member of that family, I feel a deep responsibility to support its growth and future.

Unfortunately, many students come from underprivileged backgrounds, and the school is in urgent need of financial assistance to improve its facilities and educational offerings.
