Our beloved brother, Amandeep Singh, sadly passed away at Toronto General Hospital after battling multiple organ failure following complications from leukaemia treatment on dated May 18th 2026.
Amandeep came to Canada as an international student in 2019 at the age of 18yrs with dreams of building a better future for himself and supporting his family back home in Punjab, India. Since leaving India, he never had the chance to meet his parents again.
In June 2025, Amandeep was diagnosed with blood cancer (leukaemia). He courageously fought through his illness and underwent treatment at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Toronto. After a bone marrow transplant, he was later shifted to Toronto General Hospital for routine checkups and further care.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen complications and circumstances, Amandeep lost his life, leaving our family heartbroken beyond words.
His grieving parents are in Punjab, waiting to bring their son back home to Village Harsi Pind, Punjab, where they wish to perform his final rites according to family traditions and say their final goodbye.
We are humbly raising funds to help cover:
Transportation of Amandeep’s body from Canada to India
Funeral and cremation expenses
Hospital, documentation, and travel-related costs
During this painful time, any support — whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this fundraiser — would mean the world to our family.
We sincerely thank everyone for their kindness, compassion, and support in helping us bring Amandeep home one last time.
With folded hands,
Ravinder Kaur
(Sister of Amandeep Singh).
