Heartbroken and financially drowning.

Donation protected

I Annie Saunders would like to share that I have just lost the love of my life to the dreaded Sickle Cell Disease. Vaughn Saunders has been fighting for his life for over 50 years with the clutches of Sickle Cell Disease. With his sudden passing I am left heartbroken and in financial crisis as I try to plan his funeral. A Doctor in Jamaica had told his mom that he wouldn't live to see 21 years old and recommend her to Jackson Memorial in Miami (Sickle Cell Department) to seek better treatment, Vaughn was one of three children with SICKLE Cell for his mom. He had went through many hospitalization, blood transfusion, surgeries and close death encounters. Vaughn was a fighter who never gave up, he did his very best onto his last breath. On December 16th Vaughn couldn't fight no more when all of his organs began to fail. I saw him put up a great fight to the very end to stay with me and it was very heart broken to see him go through all the pain and suffering. I know he is in a better place: No more pain and suffering! Vaughn was my one and only companion and I miss him daily, he was loved by many (including his doctors and nurses) and had a jolly spirit. Vaughn had also lost his younger brother last year June to Sickle Cell Disease. Any financial donation is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced. Funeral service will be at Grace United Community Church 901 NW 183rd St Miami Gardens, Fl 33169.
