Right before Easter, one of our worst fears became a reality! Our storage unit was broken into and cleaned out. Everything was taken. Cages, toys, perches, play stands, carriers… all the supplies that our birds rely on every day, and everything we had set aside for emergencies and future rescues, GONE.

This wasn’t random. Whoever did this knew exactly what they were looking for.

We reported the break in right away, and while detectives work on the case, we’re left trying to pick up the pieces. We’re heartbroken but we refuse to let this stop us. These birds depend on us, and we will not let them go without.
