Heartbeats of Hope: The Haylock Twins Journey

Friends and family, I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help for Jeanette and Elroy. They initially did not want to have a GoFundMe set up for them, but this heartbreaking news continues to bring immense challenges into their lives, both emotionally and financially, so they are humbly accepting your financial support.

Their twin sons, Henry and Archie, were both born prematurely with serious heart defects among other health issues. Archie will require multiple surgeries. Sweet little Henry, as they’ve just been told by the doctors yesterday, is on the edge of eternity. He simply is not getting enough oxygen-rich blood to his body. His organs are starting to fail. The doctors have substantial doubt about his life, and even if he does make it to a size big enough to get the surgeries and survives those, his quality of life will be very poor, requiring support for the rest of his life, due to sustained lack of oxygen all throughout his short life thus far.

So many of you have been asking them for the last couple of months, “how can I help?” This. This is the best way to help them as associated expenses are racking up and have become overwhelming for Jeanette and Elroy.

The funds raised will be used to cover costs such as a wide array of medical expenses, medications, high-calorie formula specifically designed for preemies, supplemental income, meals, transportation costs for traveling to OKC from Tulsa, possible housing costs in OKC, and a host of other related costs.
