This summer, Rebecca and Doug surprised us with the thrilling news: their family is growing, with a little brother for Wyatt and Russell due in February! Grandparents Earl and Yvonne Sippel and Dwight and Rose Wickesberg can't wait to have another grandbaby to love.

However, during their routine ultrasound, Doug and Rebecca received unexpected and difficult news: Their sweet little one was diagnosed with a rare congenital cardiac malformation known as HLHS, which is an underdevelopment of the heart and surrounding structures.

This brave little boy will require multiple open heart surgeries in the first weeks, months, and years of his life, and a substantial amount of time will be spent at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Your generous donations will help alleviate medical expenses not covered by insurance, travel costs, and resources to provide stability and care for Wyatt and Russell during this time while their parents take extended work leave.
