Helena’s Heart Tumor Recovery

On January 2, 2018 my mum had a small small stroke. I was very confused as to why, being that my mum is very young and healthy. With more tests, we found out that she had a large tumor on her heart (atrial myxoma). A piece of the tumor broke off and traveled to her brain, causing the stroke. Fortunately, the stroke did not leave any long term effects. She had a great cardiac surgeon that was able to remove the entire tumor with no complications! I’m raising money to help her get back on her feet while she heals. My mum has always had the biggest heart. Anyone who knows her, knows how much she loves to help. She’s selfless, kind and strong and I know with all of the love around her, she’ll heal in no time.
