Heart Transplant support for Christopher

Hello, my name is Bob and I'm setting this fundraiser up for one of my best friends Rachel and her Husband Chris. Back in 2018 Chris was diagnosed with heart failure due to dilated cardiomyopathy and only 2 months after his initial diagnosis his condition worsened greatly and had to have an LVAD pump implanted in order to save his life. At this time Chris also wasn't able to work any longer due to his condition and hasn't been able to for the past 2.5 years. They've been waiting all this time for a heart transplant since then and miraculously one became available and the transplant was a success!

So the reason we're here today is not just because of the high costs of healthcare but also the time out of work Rachel needs to take, to care for him as well as their 5 year old son Adam. Rachel's the type of person who'd never ask for this sort of assistance even though in this situation it's absolutely needed. Any contribution no matter the size would be GREATLY appreciated by Rachel & Chris to help them get through this recovery and back to life as it was before all this occured.
