Heart Transplant for Norman Blanchette

Hello everyone,

My dad is in critical condition at the ICU Heart Center in Temple, TX. He went in for triple bypass surgery after suffering a heart attack but had many complications. He is now at the end-stage of heart failure. He is stable as of this moment but has coded several times as the medical staff comes up with his plans.

As of right now, he has two machines working for his left and right side of the heart that he could not live without at this point. He is the sickest patient here at this hospital, meaning he can get a new heart any day.

We’re asking for help raising the money needed for a heart transplant and what insurance does not cover, as it is incredibly pricey.

Norman is a U.S Air Force vet, a father to three children & 7 grandchildren and fighting for his life every day.
