Blue Forever

My name is Darian Blue. I’m 36 yrs old, I've been on the heart transplant list for 5 years, and now the time has finally come! I've been struggling with heart failure in my family for the last 20+ years after the death of my father in 2001 and my oldest brother in 2005 which both passed of heart failure.. Luckily for me, by the Grace of GOD, modern Technology and after living with an LVAD device which kept me alive, I’m still here with a second chance at life! I thank my donor and pray for comfort for their family in their time of loss... I am forever grateful, honored and determined to live my life to the fullest with the help of GOD, family and friends. Update: Well, never imagined this would be the outcome but our beloved Darian Blue did not make it out of surgery and joined his brother and father. This man was so much to so many people. Words aren’t able to describe how amazing he was and if you knew him, you already know the vibes! As he would say. My name is Kaylie and many people know me but those who don’t, I know you bc my best friend told me everything. He was the best person I’ve ever met and they don’t make ‘em like him anymore. From being the most amazing father to not only his kids but my girls as well. To being the most reliable and loyal loving friend anyone could ask for. He will truly be missed and like he had tattooed on his arm “only real men die” and he was definitely the realest.
