Friends and family. Ayah here or as some of you know Abernathy (Abby). As you know my sister Marilyn is in the waiting process for a heart transplant due to heart failure.Currently her heart is functioning at 5%. Things have been rough for her and her 3 children to say the least. She is combating an illness, the health care system and attempting to provide normalcy in her kids life. In the last couple of months things have gotten even harder with rising prices for medications and the cost of living in general. She is a strong proud woman and I see her attempt to save face many a days, but I know things are getting harder for her. We as a family have been attempting to hold the ropes in this trying time. It’s been the ultimate challenge. I know times are hard for everyone in this economic climate, but if you could find it in your heart to help us out it would be greatly appreciated.
