Hello, my name is Matthew Rutt. On October 31st, 2025, my life and my family's changed forever. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer. The last 3 weeks have been a whirlwind, and she is now receiving hospice care. My father has been the sole provider for my family my entire life, and to this day continues to provide for my mother and my younger sister. He is and has always been a hardworking man, and I am blessed and thankful to call him my dad. As you can imagine, the last few weeks he has done nothing aside from being at the bedside of my mom, which in turn means he has not been working. No family should have to bear the financial burden, alongside the emotional burden, when it comes to losing a loved one. While I know that my family is one out of millions who have asked for help, I pray that if you can find it in your heart to donate, that God will bless you abundantly. Generosity and kindness are choices, but when given from the heart, a true blessing. There is nothing that makes my request different from anyone else, nor is there a reason my family is more deserving than anyone else, but I am humbly asking that if you can find it in your heart to give, please know the gratitude my family and I will express.
