Growing up in El Monte and Bassett, California, art and music were my lifeline—a way to build connection and find hope when everything else felt out of reach. For my partner Anna, born and raised in Munich, Germany, that exact same creative pulse has been her entire world since childhood, evolving from sketching in margins and playing in local orchestras into a lifelong career as an illustrator, photographer, and filmmaker.

Right now, Anna is in Munich and I’m in Las Vegas. We’ve spent far too many months staring at each other through computer screens, bridging an ocean of distance with video calls. But instead of just closing the physical gap between us, we refuse to let this journey be only about us. We want to turn our reunion into a lifeline for others.

We are heading out to spend months traveling across Europe under the banner of Heart to Art—uniting two artists from different worlds to connect cultures, paint community murals, host intimate live concerts, and sit down with accomplished creators across all mediums to capture deep human insights.

Most importantly, we are bringing this mission directly to underrepresented youth who need it most. We will be running hands-on outreach programs to introduce kids to music, art, writing, film, and photography—giving them the tools and the safe spaces to find their own voices in a world that so often tries to silence them.

Where Your Contribution Goes:

We have set a streamlined fundraising goal of $6,500 to make this dream a reality:

* Production & Capture: Essential gear to document these stories and share the journey.

* Community Supplies: Canvases, instruments, art supplies, and writing materials handed directly to youth centers along our route.

* Transit & Logistics: The baseline travel expenses required to cover our extended months traveling across Europe.
