Hi my name is Brook Tarrant CMT. I am a Certified Massage Therapist who treats people's joint dysfunction, serving an extensive community in central Marin County, California. In early April, when I came in for a routine diagnostic heart cath., I ended up with an emergent coronary bypass graft surgery lasting six hours, which kept me in the hospital for six days. The prognosis is good if I can recover in a stable environment, which means maintaining my rental studio in West Marin. After two months recovery, I hope to return to my grateful clients and treat them as before. In the meantime, I need to financially survive this unexpected ordeal. So the funds raised here will be used to keep my studio rental and avoid eviction. I am self employed, so do not qualify for any kind of unemployment benefit. All my available resources and credit is already tapped out, and I have yet to receive the final bill from Marin Health Medical Center. So this campaign is my last resort.
