Heart Surgery Fundraiser for DJ

Hello,

My name is Lauren and I am starting this Gofundme on behalf of our friends to help one of the biggest sources of light, laughter, and love in our lives.

Our most beloved DJ (Derek) is in the hospital after suffering a heart attack and is currently undergoing heart surgery to clear the blockage and put in a stent. Derek does not have the financial means to cover the medical expenses he is about to face.

This 36-year-old loving father of four has put his heart on the line countless times to support his children and his friends. He has always put his children first and worked his hardest to provide them with a comfortable and loving environment despite his financial situation. He has sacrificed so much this past year and has been put through the wringer with personal battles and a construction site injury. Life never seems to give this man a break despite how amazing he is! Not once has he asked any of us for help, because of the proud dad he is. Now his closest friends are taking it upon themselves to help this incredible man in his time of need.

We are asking anyone and everyone to please help us alleviate this financial strain on Derek by donating whatever you can.

All donations will go directly to Derek to help pay for his medical bills and to get him back on his feet. This includes rehabilitation and finances lost from being out of work.
