Hello World, meet Livvy, our 9-week old mixed-breed rescue dog!

Our family rescued this little sweetie last week. She and our other dog Cody are already best buds and cuddling throughout the night.

Unfortunately, today at her first appointment, our vet told us she has Patent Ductus Arteriosus, a defect that occurs when a heart artery fails to close at birth. Fortunately, the surgery to correct this defect is highly treatable if performed within the next month!

However, the cost of this heart surgery is about $6,000.
