Heart Surgery for Ivar

Hello! My name is Ivar .
I'm almost 7 months old. When i was rescued at 6 weeks old i was starving to death, had Hook worms and mites. Unfortunately the neglect i suffered has caused serious health issues. I just found out I have a hole in my heart between the right and left ventricle. My Doctor says i need surgery ASAP to correct it or i will not make it. Although my surgery is expensive, I am a loved fur baby and my mom and papa will do everything they can to keep me alive.

I'm learning new things every day. I can sit, lay down, fetch, shake with both hands and twirl in a circle.
My favorite snacks are homemade salmon pumpkin biscuits, carrots, watermelon, apples and anything else i can steal.
I enjoy walks in the park, playing with my humans, shredding paper and tearing up my toys as fast as i can. I love the squeaky ones!!!
I love to play with my puppy friends but am no longer allowed to get too excited because excitement causes more damage to my heart.

***We are Jeannif & Kasey. We truly believe if a dog needs you it will find you. One day in August we saw little puppy who was nothing but skin and bones walking towards us on the hot asphalt. We knew instantly we had to save him. He stole our hearts.
