I have created this Go Fund me to help raise funds for 14 year old Prince Amoah, a brave young person who recently underwent heart transplant surgery following a sudden and short illness earlier this year. The journey for Prince has not been easy, however with round the clock pre and post op medical care Prince is recovering. Goals and Princes achievements include learning to walk and talk again via physio therapy, speech therapy, regaining the ability to eat solid food, improvemnts in self care, improvements in his mental health and ultimately we look forward to Prince returning home, to school and experiencing a decent quality of life. This is an ongoing journey which will take time, care and financial support. Prince is from a single/sole parent family with three other siblings and in preparation for his return home I have organised this fundraiser with the aim of raising money to help facilitate that. Prince will need home adaptations, weelchair, self personal care products, a home carer or support worker, transport support. Prince has been in hospital for almost 5 months and it has placed a financial strain on his mother who has stayed with Prince in hospital throughout and trusted relatives and friends looking after Princes siblings. As you may well imagine it has been an emotional experience for everyone and we are hoping to raise funds to support him now and in preparation for prince's return home.
