Our absolute legend of a friend Dre has recently undergone a heart transplant. An incredible and life-saving gift that has also brought with it a long and difficult road to recovery.

Right now, Dre's focus needs to be on healing, rebuilding his strength, and protecting his immune system.

His wife Hayley has been by his side every step of the way and is now Dre’s full-time carer. Helping manage his medications, preparing food under very strict safety requirements and driving him to the many medical appointments and hospital visits that come with transplant recovery. Because Dre’s immune system is so heavily suppressed they also have to limit contact with others, making everyday support much harder to access.

At the moment neither Dre or Hayley are able to work. The emotional, physical, and financial pressure they are carrying is enormous and we would love to help ease some of that burden so they can focus on what matters most — Dre’s healing, recovery and their time together.
