Skydive for Heart research UK & TLC UK

I’m Tanisha and in July 2024, I lost my dad to cardiac failure, due to heart disease, this year in July 2025 in memory of my dad I will be doing a skydive to raise money for Heart Research UK and teddies for loving care

I’ve chosen these two charities for two seperate reasons.

Heart Research UK - Every five minutes, someone dies from heart diseases in the UK, in my family we have a history of heart problems especially on the male side, this included my dad

It’s likely that heart diseases will impact your life one day, heart research uk carry out lifesaving medical research which will help to treat, cure and support people whose lives are affected by heart disease.

TLC - teddies for loving care are a charity that provide teddies to hospitals for children during emergencies/surgeries and bereavement

the hospital provided my mam with one of these teddy’s for me as she left that day, as id had to leave early, and it’s given me more comfort than I ever imagined
