Many of you have loved, served alongside and worked with Josh Stanbery through friendships, pastoring and through the music industry.
Most dont know that Josh was born with a cardiac disease that was not discovered until he was 18; at that time, he had open heart surgery to repair or "patch" what had become extensive damage. Since that time, he has had multiple heart surgeries and procedures over the last 25 years. After a recent vicious bout with Covid, 3 ICU hospitalizations & numerous physicians procedures ; he received a call two weeks ago that was a tough one to hear, primarily the heart has grown weak beyond its ability to operate by itself and fully dependent on his Pacemaker.
Informed that the battery sustaining his heart was at less than 1%, his surgeons made it clear, he MUST have the battery replaced. Thankfully, a generous family has helped Josh and his wife Lissy with the flight costs to Dallas to get the battery replaced and possibly changed out with a defibrillator/pacemaker.
It's possible that more invasive surgeries will be necessary but the costs of the stay and the visit has grown past Josh's ability to handle the out of pocket expenses for all that needs to be done.
Would you be willing to help ? Any and all funds will be used to help sustain, accelerate and remedy this emergency need. Please prayerfully consider helping this overwhelming financial and physical challenge he's facing.
Messages of hope and prayers for Josh in this time are always welcomed and coveted. Sometimes even the smallest gift can be the difference in saving a life.
