May 16th, 2023, April had a complicated hysterectomy. She has been on extremely limited lifting and working restrictions since then. Between this and many doctors appointments, we have been trying our best to keep up with our household as well as our business.

This has all been further complicated by April having to go in for open heart surgery to fix a failing mitral valve. She goes in for exploratory surgery on June 30th and is expected to have open heart surgery the first week in July. This will take her completely away from their bakery, Heart of the City Gluten Free for the next few months.

We also have to replace an engine in a vehicle while trying to keep up with bills without income for the bakery for the foreseeable future.

If anyone can step up to committing to checking or helping stock shelves at stores, that would be wonderful. We could use help at the bakery in Parker, SD for the next few months as well.
