Road to the 59th National Silver Gloves

Hi everyone,

My name is Ethan Saldana, and I’m a young boxer from Fresno, California, working every day to chase a dream that means everything to me.

Boxing is more than a sport it’s my passion, my discipline, and my future. I train 5 to 6 days a week, pushing myself physically and mentally to become the best athlete and person I can be. Every early morning, every round, and every sacrifice is done with one goal in mind: to compete at the highest level.

I’ve earned the opportunity to compete in the 59th National Silver Gloves Tournament in Independence , Missouri, one of the most respected youth boxing tournaments in the nation. This is a huge milestone in my boxing journey and a chance to represent my city, my family, and everyone who believes in me.

Getting there, however, comes with real costs including travel, lodging, training, registration fees, and equipment. While I’m willing to put in all the hard work, I can’t do this alone.
