It is ironic that the man with the biggest heart of all needs a new one.

My husband, Jimmy Nuzzo, known to most as "DJ Jimmy Jam's", was born with a congenital heart defect, Tetralogy of Fallot. As an infant, his parents were told he might not survive. Jimmy spent most of his youth in and out of the hospital until his first open heart surgery at age seven at Yale New Haven. After a long recovery, he lived an everyday, healthy life for several years. Owner/Entertainer of Dance To The Music Entertainment, Jimmy has built the reputation of being the best in the industry! As a husband, Dad and Pop, he is the rock of our family and always gives his undivided attention and unconditional love!

In 2008, there were signs that the heart was not working correctly, so we went to Boston Children's Hospital for Adult Congenital Heart Disease and discovered that Jimmy needed the repaired valve replaced. The surgery was successful, and that valve is still working. Unfortunately, the heart is not. In 2020, Jimmy was hospitalized in Boston's Brigham Hospital for heart failure. The talk of him needing a new heart became real. After several trips and hospital admissions, it was confirmed that Jimmy needs a new heart and a new liver.

On July 14, 2022, Jimmy was listed by Massachusetts General for a heart and liver transplant.

We know that we have all the love, prayers and support in the world. Therefore, I am setting up this fundraiser to help with the cost of this surgery's medical and travel expenses.
