Heart Happy Companion for Ella

Hi, my name is Tabitha and I am starting this fundraising site to help a sweet friend Tera reach their family's goal to provide a heart happy companion for their baby girl Ella Rose. Ella was born with a very rare heart defect that means she is at risk for sudden cardiac arrest. Through endless research, appointments, hospital stays, doctors, specialist, etc. they have learned more about her condition but unfortunately it is not "fixable" so it means continously monitoring. Tera has fiercely advocated for her baby girl and in doing so found out that a service dog would be able to alert and provide early intervention for Ella Rose. This could provide the advance notice to a cardiac event where minutes are critical. Unfortunately insurance does not cover the high cost of purchasing a dog or training. Trusting that God will provide they pushed ahead and things have continued to fall into place. Seeing her story Tera was contacted by a breeder that has gifted Ella Rose a puppy to be trained. The only roadblock at this point is the high training cost. We are starting this campaign as part of several fundraising activities to try to fund this training.
