More than two million people find themselves trapped in the strip of Gaza, where thousands of bombs and missiles kill innocent civilians every day. There is no water, no food, no fuel, and no electricity. Hospitals cannot operate, medicines are running low, and hundreds of thousands of people are dying, starving, or in critical need of medical attention. And on top of that, the borders are closed, leaving them no way out whatsoever.

Given this extremely concerning situation, we have decided to act. The three sister organizations Mercy Hands For Humanitarian Aid, Mercy Hands Europe, and Mercy Hands America have joined efforts to launch the HEART Operation for Gaza. Through our professional Humanitarian Emergency Assistance and Relief Team already present at the border between Gaza and Egypt, we are prepared to assist the population of Gaza with water, food, medicines, and hygiene products. The objective is to cover their basic needs, prevent the spread of illnesses and ensure their dignity.

But the truth is that we cannot do it without your support. We need your help. It does not matter how much you can contribute. Any amount will be alleviating the suffering of those hundreds of thousands of people that fear for their lives every day. We can absolutely guarantee that 100% of the funds will be used to purchase the final aid that will be delivered, as well as to ensure that it gets to the most in need. Nothing else.

Let’s all do our bit. Let’s help them. And remember that even the smallest drop of water makes ripples throughout the entire pond .

Más de dos millones de personas se encuentran atrapadas en la franja de Gaza, donde miles de bombas y misiles se llevan cada día la vida de civiles inocentes. No hay agua, comida, combustible ni electricidad. Los hospitales no pueden operar, los medicamentos escasean y cientos de miles de personas están muriendo, están hambrientas o requieren de atención médica urgente. Y además, aquellas personas que tratan de huir se encuentran con que todas las fronteras están cerradas, privándoles de toda posibilidad de escapar.

Ante esta situación tan sumamente preocupante, hemos decidido actuar. Las tres organizaciones hermanas Mercy Hands For Humanitarian Aid, Mercy Hands Europe y Mercy Hands América han unido esfuerzos para lanzar la operación HEART for Gaza. A través de nuestro equipo profesional de Asistencia Humanitaria de Emergencia y Rescate ya presente en la frontera entre Gaza y Egipto, estamos preparados para ayudar a la población de Gaza con agua, comida, medicamentos y productos de higiene. El objetivo es cubrir sus necesidades básicas, prevenir la propagación de enfermedades y garantizar su dignidad.

Plus de deux millions de personnes se retrouvent piégées dans la bande de Gaza, où des civils meurent chaque jour sous les bombes et les missiles. Les Gazaouis sont privés d’eau, de nourriture, de carburant ainsi que d’électricité. La capacité des hôpitaux est dépassée, les réserves de médicaments s’épuisent et des milliers de personnes meurent, ou manquent de nourriture et de soins médicaux urgents. La fermeture des frontières entre l’Egypte et Gaza ne laisse aucune issue aux Gazaouis, condamnés à survivre avec les maigres réserves d’eau et de nourriture encore disponibles sur place.

Face à cette situation extrêmement préoccupante, nous avons décidé d’agir. Ensemble, nos trois organisations sœurs Mercy Hands For Humanitarian Aid, Mercy Hands Europe, et Mercy Hands America ont joint leurs forces pour lancer l'opération HEART pour Gaza. Notre équipe d’assistance humanitaire d’urgence, présente à la frontière entre Gaza et l’Égypte se tient prête à venir en aide aux Gazaouis. L’objectif est de répondre à leurs besoins de base, en leur fournissant de l’eau, de la nourriture, des médicaments et des produits d’hygiène essentiels. Notre intervention vise également à prévenir la propagation des maladies et permettre à la population affectée de continuer à vivre dans des conditions dignes et humaines.

Mais tout cela n’est pas possible sans votre soutien. Aujourd’hui, nous faisons appel à votre générosité, afin d’augmenter l’impact de notre action sur le terrain. Toute contribution – peu importe son montant – peut faire une réelle différence pour les personnes affectées par la situation actuelle dans la bande de Gaza. Più di due milioni di persone si trovano intrappolate nella Striscia di Gaza, dove ogni giorno migliaia di bombe e missili uccidono civili innocenti. Gli ospedali non funzionano, i medicinali scarseggiano e centinaia di migliaia di persone muoiono, muoiono di fame o hanno bisogno urgente di cure mediche. Considerata questa situazione estremamente preoccupante, abbiamo deciso di agire.
