My long time friend of 23 years and work partner, Jeff Hawes, on March 5, experienced what they call a silent heart attack. After admission to the hospital, it was discovered that he had a 90% blockage in one valve and 70% in another. The hospital did an emergency procedure of installing a stint in the valve with 90% blockage, of which he is now recovering. The second procedure for the 70% blockage is scheduled for April 14th. Let's hope that schedule holds due to our current situation. If all goes well, he may return to work May 1. Jeff has been a very important part of the growth of my company over the last 4 years, and the reason for that in large part, has been due to his dependability. Being without him over the last three weeks has been quite difficult. However that is the small issue. Jeff is the single father of three kids and lives paycheck to paycheck. As a small business with only 1 employee, I can not economically offer health insurance, so this has all been quit a blow.
With a little help from all of our family, friends, and clients I am hopeful we can reach the goal of $4,000. This would be so grateful in helping cover Jeff's living costs. He is a very special person to me, and I hope in some way, he is to you as well!
Thank you for your support!
