Heart and Hamer Jump-a-thon
Hi,
Because of COVID-19, schools are closed, sports have been cancelled and kids are stuck inside. Playgrounds are covered in caution tape and the swings and basketball hoops have been removed.
This isn't good for any of us!
So we - Titus (9), Solomon (7) and Jeremiah (6) - have an idea! We are going to share one of our loves (CrossFit) with our community and in doing so help every kid get active again.
We are going to do this by buying a jump rope for every student in our school.
We love CrossFit. And thanks to CrossFit programming you don't need a bunch of fancy equipment to get strong and be healthy. So, in addition to buying the jump ropes, we are going to post videos of workouts and competitions on our Instagram page @heartandhamer (https://www.instagram.com/heartandhamer/) that every kid can do with their new rope and we are going to get all the kids in our hometown active again!
