Heart & Spade Farms Fights Diabetes and Hunger!

Donate to help Heart & Spade Farms combat food insecurity and diabetes in the 2020 growing season!
Heart & Spade Farms is a small organic farm in Gresham, Oregon that was founded by head farmer Annika La Fave in 2018 with the mission of improving patients’ lives through the alliance of healthcare and agriculture. On less than one acre, Annika grows food for hospital patients, as well as medical staff and trainees to increase access for healthcare providers and the community they serve.
In 2020 Heart & Spade Farms hopes to feed 30 additional community members affected by diabetes and food insecurity by providing them with fresh produce weekly from spring through fall, free of cost!
This is where you come in. In order to do so, we need to raise $5,000 before we place our seed order in December. Help Heart & Spade Farms in its mission to combat illness and foster wellness through farming by donating to our fund.
One donation of $25 will feed two individuals for a week. A donation of $500 will feed those individuals for the entire season. Any amount of help will make a difference for the patients we hope to serve.
