Hi! My name is Tonia Kent and I am the mother of Grace Kent. I am starting this fundraiser so that we can purchase hearing aids for Grace. One year ago Grace started asking us to speak louder, repeat what we were saying and began having a ringing sound in her ears daily. We never imagined a year later, the audiologist would tell us that Grace is severely deaf in both ears and will not regain her hearing. Recently we discovered that our insurance does not cover any of the cost for hearing aids which was so disappointing. We are starting this page in hopes to raise the money to buy the cheapest pair of hearing aids which is 4000.00. Our family is trying to learn sign language quickly but she needs hearing aids to live in this world that was not designed for people who have impaired hearing or are deaf.
