Hearing Aids for Paul Murray

My husband, Paul Murray, has profound hearing loss and is dependent on his digital hearing aids. While taking our grandson to the Boys and Girls Club, he lost his hearing aids. They were in a hard shell case in his pocket, and somewhere they got lost. He has retraced his steps several times, including with the help of friends. No where to be found. His quality of life is greatly diminished without them. 
Hearing aids are not covered under medical insurance. He's been quoted $7000 to replace them. 
We are a family of four. Paul has medical issues that prevent him from working. I am a very part-time pastor and on-call chaplain. My adult daughter has a part-time job. And we are all responsible for the well-being of her son whose just start kindergarten. Our resources are stretched pretty thin.
