Hearing Aids for Mr. Chugg

My dad, Allan Chugg, has been struggling with hearing loss for a long time but in recent years it has gotten much worse. As a teacher, mentor, coach, and pastor, his hearing loss is a great frustration and source of discouragement to him.
He was told in the spring of this year that he needs to get better hearing aids or risk losing even more of his hearing ability. Unfortunately, the hearing aids he needs are going to cost at least $5000.
I was thinking that, as a community (KCC and beyond!), we could raise the money to help him get his hearing aids by Christmas! He is trying to teach elementary Spanish on top of everything else this year, and it is really hard for him to hear the younger kids' voices. I know that it would be an enormous blessing to him to be able to connect better with his students at Kansas City Christian School, the people he teaches through Freedom Fire Ministries, his 6 grandchildren, and everyone else he knows and loves!
Mr. Chugg's life is centered on communicating and connecting with people! He needs to be able to hear!!
He does not know that I have started this gofundme! I'd really like to surprise him with his new hearing aids as a Christmas Present!!
