Hearing aids for Ashley. Updated!

Anyone reading this that knows my niece, Ashley Cooper, knows that she is one of the sweetest, most kind people in the world.

Well, this weekend her one hearing aid broke and she needs a new one. She can read lips but with the masks situation now, it makes it almost impossible for her to communicate. She has three kids and is a stay at home mom. She needs to be able to hear in case the kids have an accident.

If anyone who knows Ash, sees this, please help out a little if you can. It would also be a great help if you would share it on your page. Just a little would help if we all chip in. If you know her, you know she is a positive, upbeat person who tries to see the best in everything, but she is in a bad spot as these hearing aids are expensive and for some reason insurance covers NOTHING on this, that's a real shame.

She looked into getting hers fixed but it's 15 years old.  The Audiologist said it could not be repaired. We also looked at maybe getting one at Costco, thanks to the advice of my father, but Costco does not have the type of Audiologist that Ash has to have to determine exactly what she needs, Costco handles mainly general hearing loss due to age or things like that. 

We don't know the exact cost yet, but this same model was $2,000 the last time (15 years) she had to get one so it will likely be more but you guys probably know our family, we would not want to "overestimate" the cost. They should know in a few days how much it will be and I will update the page with the exact information. They don't know now how much it will be because she has to go be tested this week to determine her exact needs.

Missy, came up with this idea, I don't think Ash would ever do it herself, she never wants to be a burden to anyone. But remember in Nehemiah we are told that many hands make light work.
