Hello, my name is Arlette Raquel Maria Martinez. I am 22 years old and I have significant hearing loss. It is so significant that it prevents me from fully developing at work and academically. My situation has deteriorated over the years. It all started when I was 8 years old when my mother noticed that I watched the television with the volume very high. The degree of hearing has worsened since I was younger. So that you can have an idea of the severity; if I go to the doctor or to run some errands, I must go with someone else so that they can tell me what the other person says. The hearing loss has not recovered through any of my efforts and trying harder to hear does not help at all. The use of hearing devices is now essential to slow down the progression of my hearing loss so that I do not become completely deaf.

That is why I am writing to you today to ask for your help. The cost of the devices that I have to use is incredibly high for me. Therefore, I humbly request any financial support that you can provide. Whether it is through a donation or simply by spreading the word to others who may be able to help.

Hola, mi nombre es Arlette Raquel Maria Martinez tengo 22 años y manifiesto una pérdida auditiva significativa, tanto que me impide desarrollarme a plenitud en el plano laboral y académico. Mi situación ha ido en deterioro con el paso de los años. Todo inició cuando yo tenía 8 años, mi madre notó que veía el televisor con el volumen muy alto pero el grado de hipoacusia no era tanto como lo es ahora. Para que tengas una idea, si voy al médico o a alguna diligencia, debo ir con alguien que me diga lo que dicen. La pérdida auditiva no se recupera y el esforzarme tanto sin resultado solo está avanzado más el problema. Ya es indispensable el uso de dispositivos auditivos para lograr frenar el avance de mi hipoacusia y no quedar completamente sorda.

Por eso les escribo hoy para pedirles su ayuda, el costo de los dispositivos que debo utilizar es increíblemente alto para mi por eso solicito humildemente cualquier apoyo que ustedes puedan brindar, ya sea a través de una donación o simplemente difundiendo esta información.
