It should be easier to live a life free of harm and harassment.
To find love, to go out with friends, to feel good about the fit, to have a productive work day, to walk home at night..
We rely on law enforcement, the justice system, and human resources to protect, to guide, and to do what is right when someone does something wrong. Too often the paths to adequate support deter, or even harm, the people they’re meant to help.
Justice comes at great personal cost; one that perpetrators don’t often pay. Somehow survivors are expected to fight when the only thing in their corner is all of the burden, and with no promise of a fair outcome. But your stories have not been forgotten.
We want to change the status quo.
The first app we’re releasing is called Heard by YGG. It’s an invite only safe space where survivors can share their stories anonymously, and find helpful resources for themselves and loved ones who support them. The hope is that good can come from their courage because their stories can save others. So we’re creating a space for them to be heard.
We’d love your support.
