Tricia Estey is one of the most generous, loving, and vibrant women I have ever met. When I received a call that she was hospitalized and in a coma with a seizure I couldn't believe it. Tricia is larger than life and so happy, she is the first person to volunteer to help, the first person to take responsibility and loves her kids more than anyone could ever love.
After complaining of having a headache and not feeling so well when she went to bed Thanksgiving evening, Friday morning Tricia woke up her husband by having a seizure. After rushing to the emergency room she was diagnosed with pneumococcal meningitis, and by Saturday they told her family she was brain dead and non-responsive. The family is devastated and overwhelmed by the loss of this precious woman who was the hub of her family, and who did so much for others.
Tricia leaves behind her sons, Austin (8), Aidan (10), Andrew (17) and her daughter Lexi (14) and her husband James.
Everyone has asked how they can best help in this time of sadness and crisis. The greatest immediate need is helping her family by providing financially to help supplement the added costs of her medical care and funeral, and also helping James sustain the family on a single income. (*** FYI: The money given goes DIRECTLY to James and I have no hand in it, I just organized the fundraiser.)
