Dawit's Healing Fund

Our brother Dawit, aka King Zion, has been on the verge of losing his life many times over the past few years and if you know him, we are asking for your love, positive, energy, prayers, and support in any way possible at this time... 

Dawit is currently in the hospital and has barely left for the past two years!
Having just returned from working in Ethiopia and doing music in Jamaica, he was working hard in a cold state to fund his vision and when it all started with a sandwich from the gas station that (obviously) wasn't the best choice...it hardened in the microwave and after eating, it quickly ruptured his intestines.

It has been a journey since then...

Dawit had reconstructive surgery in Minnesota back in 2017 that also went wrong. He came to Las Vegas to recover in early 2018, however, was faced with another infection leading the doctors to recognize that the first surgery needs to be redone. 
We are trying to organize lawyer costs for both Minnesota and in Las Vegas to get him back on his feet. If anyone has any leads on someone who can help, that would really help!

It is now February 2019 and he is in the hospital with Pneumonia.  They have him on medication to cause paralysis so he doesn't aggravate the tubes in his throat- because we know he is restless.

If you know Dawit, then it doesn't require much explanation. However, if you don't; he is a young Ethiopian man with a good heart and eyes on the horizon to provide a fruitful life for himself and his mother. He is a fire lion with devotion for all that he loves. 
Passion is the one word that probably best describes Dawit. 

And in a beautiful balance, he is cared for by his sweet and graceful mother Sinafikish. 

Dawit's Mom, Mama B, Amaye (mother in Amharic) that our beloved family calls her, is there for Dawit day in and out. 
She works so hard as a caretaker for work, and then has to travel far to be there for her son in this critical time. While she would never say a word, we all know she is under a lot of pressure to manage everything alone.
As our collective unit, we would like to support her to be able to have somewhat of a rest during this already stressful time. 

Although we cannot all be there for our brother, we can still be there. 

We are asking for your prayers, love, and positive energy, in all ways possible. It TRULY works WONDERS! Anything and everything good helps!
